| Baron Islebis Found Dead
Late last night the Baron Yarri Islebis, 56, was found dead outside his bed chamber by his Valet, in the south wing of the Islebis Estate and Kennel. His body was found along with four of his personal guards; there bodies badly beaten and broken, apparently in defense of their Lord.
Earlier that day Islebis was seen in company of his recently found prize fighting dog Akela. It was said the Barron had lost a large sum of moneys during the disappointing fights that day. The Barron had been seen leaving his box prior to his prize dog being thrown to the pit herself. The subsequent fight was deemed one-sided to say the lease with Akela being decapitated with minute by GoldWhip; owner had not been named at time of post. During the bout Islebis was seen scolding his handlers for the pathetic showing in the ring.
During the final fight an alarm had been sounded as it seems some of the fighters had escaped their cells. A massive search of Vidaar, its grounds and surroundings was called to locate the prisoners.
Later that night it was accounted that Islebis was entertaining him self with his newly healed dog along with a few of his personal guards several hours before his body was found. The pit dog Akela’s blood was found but is reported as missing or feared dead as well.
The Captain of the Guard Gareth called off the search for the escapees until the investigation into the Barron’s death was completed. Captain Gareth wouldn’t comment on if the two separate incidents are related in anyway.
The Barron, a widower with no children, leaves his estate and kennel to be divided between the two remaining great houses of Vidaar. The burial date will be posted at the Islebis Estate gates when finalized.
